Sustainable Event Certification provides certification to BS 8901. We are the first and only certification body dedicated to the events industry and to delivering certification to BS8901.
We work side by side with you to ensure you develop your systems in accordance with the requirements of the standard. It is advisable to engage with us well in advance of seeking certification so that we can determine whether you are developing your systems in the correct way.
We also offer a phased approach to certification to enable you to claim certification prior to your event.
Once you have demonstrated compliance with the standard, we will register you and permit you to use the SEC logo in association with your events. Be aware that to maintain the registration, you will need to undergo on-going audits to ensure you remain in compliance.
