For organisations already with experience in BS 8901 and who have been running their sustainability management system for some time, then the route to certification involves 2 parts, a Pre-Certification Assessment followed later by the actual Certification Assessment.
The Pre-Certification Assessment will assess whether your management system is ready for certification. A report is issued identifying the main gaps and making recommendations for improvement. We will provide you with access to our BS 8901 Checklists and Toolbox to help you address any gaps.
Once the recommendations have been implemented, then we would conduct the actual Certification Assessment leading to certification to BS 8901.
